One of my co-workers recently surprised me with a Redbook magazine subscription. She is a bit of a Frugal Franny and became sickened at the sight of me spending obscene amounts of money on purchasing magazines (daily) from the local Target. This is the perfect gift for your girlfriends who are avid readers and have a constant thirst for knowledge. Tailor your magazine selection(s) based on their personality and interests. My co-worker opted for Redbook because she felt that since I am (or was by the time this article is published) a mom to be I needed to become more domesticated, and boy was she right!
