If you’re batting zero with all the wrong moves, maybe it’s time for a flirtation refresher. These six tips will have him reading all the right signals from you:

1: Make Eye Contact

Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? But for some of us, it isn’t. Our shyness has us glancing away at our feet, at others in the room, at anyone but the person we want to impress: HIM.

2: Come Up With A Great Pick-up Line

Yeah, yeah, I know. You’ve laughed at some of the corny ones that have been tried on you. Which brings home one clear fact: a great pick-up line isn’t easy. That’s why it’s smart to practice a few, so that they roll trippingly off your tongue and into his heart.

3: Smile – A Lot!

More than anything, a smile is the greatest aphrodisiac. It tells potential mates that you are happy and approachable. Try walking up to someone with a solemn look on their face. Not easy, is it? So, say cheese!

4: It’s Okay To Touch Him

If you like what you hear from him, grazing his arm with your fingers, or squeezing his hand with your own is showing (as opposed to telling) him you’re available for a future date.

5: Listen Up!

Men like to know that you’re interested in them. So ask questions, then listen to his answers before you start in about yourself or lay on some of your tried-and-true witticisms.

6: Go Outside Your Comfort Zone

Looks are deceiving. The guy you think looks “perfect” for you may be the biggest douche, player, or grump you’ve ever met. On the other hand the man who is quieter, or not as handsome, may have something interesting to say, so why not give him a chance?

Taking a few risks may change your life – in a good way!
